The DMC transfer paper pack contains 4 sheets of transfer paper: 2 blue and 2 yellow.
The blue paper is suitable for light fabrics, while the yellow "indigo" paper is designed for dark fabrics.
Unlike traditional indigo paper, the remaining lines can be removed with a damp cloth (or eraser)!
How to use:
- Place the transfer paper on the fabric, with the COLORED SIDE DOWN.
- Draw the design on the back of the transfer paper using a ballpoint pen or sharp pencil.
- Remove the transfer paper from the fabric, and the design will be on the fabric.
- Embroider the design, then remove the remaining lines using a damp cloth.
Personal experience: The yellow "indigo" works great on dark fabrics, and transferring the design is easy. The blue paper, however, leaves lighter blue lines than the original indigo, which makes it easier to remove the remaining lines from the fabric.
